Measuring the impact of quality programs in Radiology is challenging. Such programs can include professional metrics such as peer review, procedure complications and patient outcomes as well as more technical metrics such as dose and standardization of imaging protocols. Additional program elements such as radiation safety, appropriateness of imaging, patient satisfaction, patient access, accreditation, performance improvement, or annual training will be discussed.
