This lecture will discuss what residents/fellows must consider when evaluating a potential position. Data from the most recent Economics of Diagnostic Imaging Symposium will be presented so that residents/fellows can better understand market forces and group expectations. Hiring decisions, strategies, and suggestions will be offered so that attendees can better evaluate whether a position suits their interests and their needs.
At the completion of this lecture, registrants should be able to:
- Assess the merits of a particular job offer
- Evaluate the fellowships that radiology groups currently value most
- Discuss the factors that make job applicants more/less attractive to radiology groups
This Level 1 elective course will cover competency 6.2.1 in the Professional Development domain of the RLI Common Body of Knowledge and award 1 RLI credit. This webinar is tailored to residents, however, anyone is welcome to attend.
